How come internet video is still growing? Is the Arab Spring? Still kids and kittens? The spoofs and mash-ups? Or just celebs like Justin Bieder and Charlie Sheen? We will show you the most important trends, viral hits and internet stars and hidden gems of the year 2011.

Last year our good friend Selfcontrolfreak used the SingerSweatShop for a month to film for his first full-length interactive film ORDER, a step further then his already famous SCF shorts. The premiere will be held in V2_ during the IFFR on Friday the 27th of January, from 20h00 til 23h00. read all

Peter Fortmann and Marjan de Goeij, both 4th years students at Willem de Kooning Academy and with I DON’T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ANYTHING .. they are having their first show at the SingerSweatShop.
Peter’s works stem from public space and with his installations he reacts to society. For this exhibition he made new work for and with the SingerSweatShop space. Marjan is working from her own private space which results in collages. Combining these two different ways of working will have some surprising outcomes.
