Last year our good friend Selfcontrolfreak used the SingerSweatShop for a month to film for his first full-length interactive film ORDER, a step further then his already famous SCF shorts. The premiere will be held in V2_ during the IFFR on Friday the 27th of January, from 20h00 til 23h00.

Selfcontrolfreak’s daily life is structured according to a regulated system of operations as he continues to wait, caught between love and abandonment. His sense of security starts to diminish as outside interference increasingly takes over.

After the film premiere, there will be a Q&A with the artists that will explore the content of the film itself, as well as broader issues of interactive films and the possibilities they open up for audiences.

Written and directed by Olivier Otten, concept developed with Daphne Heemskerk.
