Baschz’s name is best known for his work in the streets and with the omnidisciplinary intervention force Betamaxxx, which he founded with Crackrock in 192000. But Baschz does loads: St. Retard, drawing, painting, printing, internet, t-shirts, workshops, designing, goodies, ladynipples. Double and 3D. Indoors, outdoors, everywhere! He’s also one of the founders of and a curator for the SingerSweatShop.

Both solo and with Betamaxxx he exhibited among other places in Berlin, Paris, Antwerp, Amsterdam, and Rotterdam. You can find his street worxxx from cities like Eindhoven and Rotterdam to London, New York, Bangkok and Johannesburg.

After living, studying (Design Academy) and working in Eindhoven for 11 years, he moved to Rotterdam in the beginning of 2004. There he joined forces, next to his solo work, with other creative Southeners to form the infamous arts-and-parties TicToc Collective.

In 2008 fellow TicTocian Julstar and Baschz started the Mañana Arts Gallery above cocktailbar DP96 on the Witte de With, the art street of Rotterdam, where they present a variety of local and international young artists and deejays every month.
