I take the subjects in my work from the news. When a subject has an influence on my life then it’s suitable for use. The subjects differ from repression of women in the porn-industry to the need and opportunities of people expressing themselves in the streets. Lately i’ve been working a lot on walls, making wallpaintings and -installations. These works have a cartoon-like look because of the human figures made out of lines and colour sheets. I give comments with my work but i don’t want to be too moralistic. I want to make people think themselves and decide what their opinion or feeling is about the subject. Or not, you can also just look (and enjoy).
